Overso Paris jewels are crafted in a jewelry studio in Paris from either solid silver of solid 18-karat gold (white, rose or yellow). The high-quality stones are semiprecious or certified precious stones. Overso Paris guarantees its jewels and covers any faults of production. Everyday wear is not covered by the guarantee.

Oxidization of the jewels may give them a darker appearance. Over time and with exposure to water and everyday wear, the jewelry may lose a bit of its brightness. This is not a defect and is not covered by the guarantee.

Gold Overso Jewelry

Pure gold is 24 karats. When you buy 18-karat gold jewelry, that means it is 75% pure gold and 25% alloy.

By percentage:

24K = 24 karats of pure gold, or 100%
18K = 18 karats of pure gold, or 75%, and 6 karats of alloy, or 25%

Yellow Gold — The alloy generally consists of silver and copper in equal amounts.
Rose Gold —The alloy is mostly copper.
White Gold — The alloy consists mostly of nickel and/or palladium.

Most alloys are composed of other metals that enhance certain qualities of the mix, such as silver, nickel and zinc.
